Sharing Experience & Spirituality
The Camino de Santiago de Compostela, featured in the Martin Sheen movie, “The Way,” attracts more than 100,000 people each year to walk portions of the medieval pilgrimage route across northern Spain. Whether you have heard of the Camino and are curious or whether you are actively planning a pilgrimage, this program will be interesting, inspirational and informative.
The Pilgrim Experience: Walking the Camino de Santiago de Compostela
Cheryl Grasmoen, a retired attorney from St. Paul, Minnesota, has walked the Camino three times – the most recent being the summer of 2013. She will share the motivations that draw people to the Camino and the spiritual, psychological and physical benefits and challenges that occur.
Be Truly Human – Be a Pilgrim…
Paul Coutinho is an international scholar, speaker and author of several books, including his latest, Sacred Darkness: Encountering Divine Love in Life’s Darkest Places. This dynamic helps us to plunge into the tumult of everyday chores while our hearts rest in the depths of the Divine Essence.
